I have 2 children, my oldest never had any problems with having reactions to laundry detergent, and my youngest, who is almost 1 year old, has had a horrible time. I waited until she was 5 months old, but then tried to use a detergent other then Dreft on her clothes, I thought it would save me time. Well, she broke out in a terrible rash!! I tried Tide, Gain, Dynamo, Sun, Clorox for colors, All, everything, and if it wasn't Dreft she broke out in hives. When I received the first order of products that Green Kidz R Us recommended and I washed just one of her socks with he rest of our clothes, I took it out of the dryer, and put it directly on her foot, waited, 20 min later still no rash. Then I washed a Onesie, and immediately put it on her, thought the detergent strongest right after the cycle, and 20 min, 40 min, 3 hrs later still no rash!!!! Finally, I can wash her clothes with the rest of the family, the time this will save me is unreal, and I am so excited!!

I wanted to share with you my initial experience with Green Kidz R Us recommended product line. I am a working Mom with 5 kids (3 of which are teenagers!) so cost very important to me when it comes to household items. While I am concerned about the environment and the impact my family makes, I have never been able to afford the luxury of buying the better, "safer" cleaning and care products for my home. When I saw the prices of the Green Kidz R Us recommended products I decided to do a little research.  I am thrilled with these products! I feel like I am doing a good thing for my family and for the planet, without hurting our budget. My plan was to use up the items I already had but I ended up tossing most of them after I used my new products. Knowing how harmful they were, and the ‘chemical’ smell they gave off was enough to start ‘fresh” with my new products. Below are some examples of the product comparisons I found.

My 6 year old has eczema. Eucerin came Dr. recommended. It is the greasiest, slimiest lotion there is. I actually wash my hands after using and my son leaves grease spots when he touches anything. After purchasing the Green Kidz R Us recommended Dry and Problem Skin Therapy Lotion my son had a breakout so I applied it to the areas. Within 30 minutes he felt better and the red and itching had calmed down.

My 5 year old daughter Haleigh has been struggling with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) for a few years now.  We thought it was lactose, maybe gluten, maybe something else, but we couldn't tell, and neither could the doctors.  We had tried a few different things, cutting out all dairy, Lactaid pills, no bread, more fruit, more water.  Sometimes it helped a little, but mostly not.  Without too much detail let's just say if there was a gastric symptom to be had...she had it.  Poor little thing!

My order came and, I have been giving Haleigh 1 scoop of the Fiber drink every morning, with a Probiotic mixed in.  Since that day she has had not one tummy ache!  Not one!  No runs to the bathroom, no clutching her belly in pain.  Nothing!  At first I thought, okay maybe she just hasn't eaten whatever it is that bothers her, but for her relief to have lasted this long is totally amazing!  I am psyched to tell people about her experience, and I am so thankful that we finally found something to help my little girl feel better!  Yay!
